        Skyborn has been at the forefront of offshore wind project development since 2000, starting with our home market of Germany. We have since expanded into other European markets and are now making our mark in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on Australia and Taiwan, where our 640 MW Yunlin offshore wind farm is currently under construction. Throughout our international activities, we prioritize open communication and collaboration with authorities, political decision-makers, local communities, and businesses. We believe that developing an offshore wind project should not only be economically viable but also have high acceptance and minimal impact on the environment. At Skyborn, we remain committed to realizing sustainable offshore wind projects that benefit all stakeholders.

        Australia

        Skyborn Australia is based in Sydney, and acts with the aim of developing, building and operating offshore wind power in Australia and contributing to Australia’s target of net zero emissions by 2050.

        Japan

        Skyborn Japan is based in Tokyo and was established in 2018 with the aim of developing, building and operating offshore wind power in Japan and contributing to Japan’s goal of achieving ambitious renewable energy targets.

        South Korea

        Skyborn South Korea is based in Seoul, and was established in 2018 with the aim of developing, building and operating wind power projects and contributing to South Korea’s goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

        Taiwan

        Skyborn Taiwan is committed to promoting the upgrade of all aspects of Taiwan’s offshore wind power industry. In 2018, the company was allocated the 640 MW Yunlin offshore wind farm from the Phase II Potential Sites.
