Cathrin Browne has been the General Counsel of Skyborn Renewables (Skyborn) since November 2022.
She completed her First State Exam (law degree) at Kiel University in 2004 and her Second State Exam (bar exam) at the Higher Regional Court of Schleswig in 2007. Cathrin further holds a Master's degree in International Business Law from King's College in London (UK) and also obtained a Diploma of Law (Study Abroad) from the University of Westminster in London (UK).
Prior to joining Skyborn, Cathrin Browne spent more than five years as Senior Legal Counsel and Lead Legal Counsel at Orsted in Hamburg, Germany, where she advised on a wide range of corporate and regulatory legal topics relating to the development, construction and operation of offshore wind farms in Germany and worldwide.
From 2010 to 2017, she worked as an Associate and Senior Associate in the Corporate/Energy Group at Watson Farley & Williams in Hamburg, Germany – an international law firm with deep industry knowledge in the energy, infrastructureand transportation sectors.
