As the second French offshore wind farm and the first of Normandy, Fécamp project has been developed since 2007 by the project team. The development has been extensive engagement with local stakeholders to ensure community acceptance. The official inauguration of this offshore wind farm represents a significant milestone for Skyborn, its partners and the French energy transition.

The construction phase of Fécamp offshore wind farm has generated more than 3,000 jobs in the Normandy region over the three-year period. This achievement was supported by a robust industrial plan for the region.

As a pioneering project in France, Fécamp offshore wind farm features 71 Siemens-Gamesa turbines, each with a capacity of 7 MW, installed on concrete gravity-based foundations. Spanning a surface area of 60 square kilometers and located between 13 and 24 kilometers from the Fécamp shore, the offshore wind farm is projected to provide green electricity to approximately 770,000 people over its 25-year operational lifetime.
