This achievement is a strong testament to professionalism, persistence, and teamwork across the Yunneng project team and Skyborn over eight years of document reviews and on-site evaluations. And what makes it especially remarkable is the scope of the certification process.

The third-party assessment was applied to the entire asset, including all major components: the foundation, the turbine, and the grid connection to the onshore substation including inner array and export cables. Furthermore, all critical phases from project development through execution to commissioning are covered:

• Design Basis
• Detailed Design
• Production
• Transport & Installation
• Commissioning.

What is project certification?

In general, project certification aims to minimise project‑specific risks throughout the wind farm’s life cycle and ensure safe, cost‑effective design, construction, and operation by meeting all relevant requirements. It also demonstrates to stakeholders that the applicable standards have been fully met.

This milestone confirms Yunlin OWF’s technical integrity, quality execution, and long-term operational readiness, while setting a new benchmark for Taiwan’s renewable energy sector.
